The simple answer is ‘yes’. If you are serious about selling or letting your property you need a silent sales man outside your door. Many people will only move if the right property comes onto the market. They don’t look at Rightmove every day and they won’t be in contact with Estate Agents, however if a board is put up outside their dream home they will leap into action. Other buyers will research the area they are looking to move to by visiting the area and driving around to establish if the area is right for them. If they see the ‘For Sale’ or ‘To Let’ board, they will be in touch.

With more people having home deliveries, there is a list of people coming and going even in the quietest of locations. It may not be the person visiting the cul-de-sac that is the prospective buyer or tenant, but they might know someone who is looking. Always use all the tools at your disposal if you are serious about selling or letting your home.
